Fast Weight Loss: Lose Weight Fast – The Secrets Revealed
Not that long ago I was fat and overweight and then I discovered the secrets of fast weight loss, which together with the knowledge to keep the weight off, changed my life forever.
One absolute myth is that low carbohydrate diets work, they do not in my experience and I have given a number of them a try over many years. The much reduced allowable carbohydrate intake often makes your life a misery ” a human body cannot operate as it should if it does not receive the correct amount of carbohydrates.
Diets which are low in fat and those which advocate severely restricting your food intake are also to be avoided. Foods which are low in fat do not necessarily bring about a fast weight loss, despite what the hype might have you believe. You will find an excessive amount of sugar and calories contained in these so called low fat foods and obviously that will lead to a weight gain. And the best way to gain unwanted fat, over a period of months, is to first succumb to a starvation diet. Again I am speaking from experience. Food is required to allow your body to function correctly and it will start to shut down if that food is not provided. You will greatly reduce your metabolism, this is clearly the wrong way to lose weight.
You should also stay clear of other types of diets whose fundamental approach is seriously flawed. Here I am referring to pre-package diet programs and Celebrity diets which are for some reason inanely popular.
It is a great joy to most people to learn that exercise need only form twenty percent of the weight loss battle. With a diet which is balanced and healthy in content comprising the other eighty percent. The majority of people who need to lose weight do take enough exercise, however, their eating habits are the barrier to achieving that healthy body and fit physique.
The food which you eat will determine whether you lose weight or add weight. Previous generations will no doubt preach that breakfast, lunch and dinner – three substantial and wholesome meals per day is both traditional and correct. However this conflicts with more recent scientific study which has evidence to substantiate the theory that it is more advantageous to our well being not to eat three large meals on a day by day basis.
By eating more frequently, in a controlled manner, you could burn more calories and give your metabolism a boost. Believe it or not you can eat more and still lose weight provided that the right amount of food and of the correct type is consumed. Simplistically, the answer is to eat five meals per day. This may sound totally outrageous, however when you consider that each human being is in effect a very complex machine and if you understand this machine, it is relatively easy to alter the workings of the machine i.e. boost your metabolism which will bring about a fast weight loss, which is maintainable for life.
You need to exercise, but most of us do enough exercise already to be losing weight, we just have not been told about the proper techniques.
Another cool thing to know is that you can do certain types of exercise to actually increase your metabolism and increase the calories you burn while you are resting or sleeping.
