Delicious Hawaiian Macaroni Salad

Each state has its own specialties, but nothing is better than Hawaii’s Macaroni Salad. You can find it everywhere in Hawaii, even outside of luaus. It’s really easy and quick to make this delicious recipe and the best part is that it only takes 6 ingredients to put this together. Chances are, you already have these ingredients at home in your fridge and pantry. If not, just add a couple minutes to the recipe to go to the grocery store and pick up 1 or 2 ingredients.

You probably already have all of the ingredients you need to make Hawaiian Macaroni Salad. And, if you have 30 minutes of time, you can make it very quickly for your family to enjoy. Don’t sweat it though if you don’t have all the ingredients. A 10 minute trip to the grocery store is all you need to pick up any missing ingredients and once you get home, you can turn on your favorite sitcom and by the time it’s over, you’ll have delicious Hawaiian Macaroni Salad for your family.

First, check your pantry because you may have all of the ingredients at home, already. If not, it’s a quick trip to the grocery store, since there are only 6 ingredients needed.

Second step, cook the macaroni for 8 minutes or so, or until tender. This is the key to your salad because the texture and softness of the macaroni is crucial.

Third, add the diced carrots, mayo, and milk to the macaroni. Add salt & black pepper as you like. You may have to add more mayonnaise if desired, since this is a personal taste.

Fourthly, cover and put into the refrigerator to chill. You can serve later on in the day, so it’s a time saver since you can make it in the morning.

Lastly, here is a great tip: get creative and consider adding ham, peas, boiled eggs or tuna! Don’t limit yourself to recipes…feel free to add what you like to any recipe!

You will never try another Hawaiian Macaroni Salad recipe again. Your family will beg for this at least once a week and it only takes 30 minutes to prepare. This recipe is so easy and delicious that your family will be happy you tried this recipe.
