Amazing Smoothie Recipes Review - Making It Easy to Be Healthy

I had decided to lose weight, but I wanted to make sure I was doing this in a healthy way, which is why I thought smoothies would be a great choice. I quickly found the Amazing Smoothie Recipes eBook which not only gave me great recipes, it also told me about the numerous health benefits of smoothies - which I was really interested in learning.

When I bought the eBook it was very easy to download ” which was great because I couldn’t wait to check it out, alongside the 4 bonus eBooks that came with it! It only cost $9.95 and it was given in PDF format which helped me to print it out and put it into a ring binder, though I also saved a copy of all the eBooks on my computer for safe-keeping.

Some of the great things this eBook has taught me include just why it’s so important to have 5 portions of fruit and vegetables each day. Because most of us lead such busy lives, we often get as little as three - but the recipes in this eBook provide a helpful way around this. You’ll even get a chart so you can tick off how many portions of fruit you eat every day.

There were some really interesting facts in this eBook about why smoothies are so nutritionally valuable. For example, I learned that watermelons include an important cancer-fighting ingredient called lycopene. There are also a huge number of other antioxidants found in the recipes here, important for protecting your health.

I also recommend the recipe on page 43 for the Pink Banana Smoothie, or the Apple Passion on page 37. And the good news is that they don’t require any fancy ingredients, just fruits stocked in your local supermarket. This is even great for anyone going on a raw diet ” all it takes is a minute to whizz your food in the blender!

The one factor I’d like to point out about this eBook is that all the measurements for liquids are provided in ml instead of in cups. But this wasnt too much of a problem for me, as most of my measuring cups already had the measurements for ml as well as cups ” and I found that around 200ml of juice works out at just less than 1 cup ” but if you don’t already have one that measures ml, I’d recommend getting a Pyrex measuring cup. If you’re also worried about making a mess with your blender then you’ll really enjoy the section on keeping it clean ” it’s certainly saved me a lot of effort!

The best thing about choosing to buy an eBook was that I could download it instantly! This means you can buy it whenever you want and you’ll get it right there and then! All people know that fast food is bad, but do they know why? As the problem of overweight is becoming prevalent all over the world, we cannot underestimate the menace of fast food to human.

There is an increasing number of fast food restaurants all over the world, and less home cooked diet be made, because the advertising budget of the fast food outlets has been greatly raised. It is easy to understand why more and more people are attracted to go to fast food shops to have their meals.

Is Green Tea Actually Healthy for You?

When it comes to our morning beverages, there are a lot of things to be weary of. You hear how bad coffee is for you so you switch to tea. Creative Breakfast Ideas Involving Fruit

The American Dietetic Association stresses not only the importance of breakfast, but the quality of breakfast foods consumed. A nutritious breakfast will give you a healthy start to your day. Fruit is one important food that should be included in ones breakfast as it is packed full of vitamins and antioxidants.

The following is a list of creative breakfast ideas involving fruit:

1. Spread peanut butter on a small pita and wrap it around a banana. Make sure you get your calcium with a large glass of cold milk.

2. Have a delicious waffle that is topped with berries and yogurt.

3. Fill a pita with fresh fruit and cottage cheese.

4. Have a scrambled egg or omelet sandwich with a tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Have a fresh banana with it.

5. For a light breakfast, have a muffin or English muffin with a fruit spread, a banana, and a glass of milk.

6. Have a fruit smoothie made in a blender. One recipe is:

Berry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients: 1 frozen banana, peeled and cut up 1/4 cup fresh or frozen berries (such as raspberries, blackberries and/or strawberries) 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice 3 tablespoons plain yogurt

Preparation: Put the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

7. Have a delicious fruit salad. Cut up all your favorite fruits in a bowl. Add yogurt or honey. Add some granola on top. You can also try the following recipe:

Ingredients: 2 cups cubed cantaloupe 2 large red apples, chopped 1 cup red or green grapes 1 medium banana, sliced 1/2 cup lemon yogurt 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice

Preparation: In a bowl, combine the fruit and mix. Combine the yogurt and orange juice and sprinkle it over the fruit.

8. Make some pancakes and add fresh fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.

9. Have a parfait that includes layering granola, yogurt, and fruit in a parfait dish.

10. Make a toasted bagel topped with cream cheese and fruit slices such as berries.

11. Have a healthy fruit Hodge Podge:

Ingredients:

1 honeydew melon cut up into chunks 1 banana cut into pieces 1 apple cut into pieces apples 50g of a granola cereal 2 tablespoons yogurt

Combine all ingredients. You can also use your own favorite fruits.

12. You can try this Breakfast Fruit Cobbler:

2 Cups of fresh, canned or frozen fruit Place fruit in a baking dish sprayed with cooking oil.

2 Tablespoon sugar 1 Teaspoon cornstarch 2 Teaspoon water or (juice from the canned fruits) 1/2 Teaspoon lemon juice

Mix together and pour over fruit in dish.

1/2 Cup quick cooking oats 1/4 Cup all-purpose flour 1/4 Cup brown sugar 1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon or (1/4 Teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 Teaspoon of nutmeg) 1/4 Cup cold butter

Preparation: Mix together cutting in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit in dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Makes 4 servings.

How I Eat Spaghetti

How do you eat spaghetti? Are you eating it the right way? Maybe, you aren’t sure. I will tell you how to eat spaghetti in this article.

So, what are the table manners when you are eating spaghetti? The very first rule is to keep your hands on the table and your elbows off of the table. Definitely be sure to wait for everyone to be served before starting to eat your spaghetti. The most common mistake is to overload too much pasta on the fork and this leads to only bad things. If you decide its too big or too long, drop it down and pick up a smaller bite of spaghetti. Do not use your spoon to roll the noodles and never bite off the excess and let it fall back into your bowl. You can bite off spaghetti and put it back into your bowl all you want, at home.

Common mistakes: Dont slurp. Absolutely no sounds of any kind while you eat. Dont splatter. Spaghetti can sometimes splatter the sauce. So be careful, but dont wear a napkin as a bib unless you are a small kid. Avoid spaghetti for large or formal parties. Short pasta (rigatoni, penne, etc) are much easier to serve and to eat.

Spaghetti will be served in a deep bowl like a shallow soup-dish with a rim. One technique I like to use is to make room at the front of the bowl pushing the spaghetti a little toward the center. Take a little bunch of the spaghetti with the prongs of the fork. Push it against the front side. Roll up and eat all in one bite. Easy, right?

Now, working with the fork in a vertical position, and the prongs against the rim of the bowl, twirl the fork clockwise with your fingers to roll the spaghetti around your fork. Raise the fork with the spaghetti wrapped around above the bowl, and measure the length with your eyes.
